A Western Antiochian Parish in Spokane, Washington
Warm Greetings from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church!
The St. Nicholas Parish lost their priest due to illness in June 2023. In November, His Eminence Metropolitan Saba appointed the Very Reverend Father Fenton, Priest-in-Charge of the Parish and (then) Dn Jacob Bourassa, Pastoral Assistant.
Fr. Fenton guided and mentored Dn Jacob, remotely. Fr Fenton visited Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church two times before Dn Jacob’s ordination to the Holy Priesthood.
During this illustrious event, His Grace Bishop John also ordained St. Nicholas Orthodox Parish’s new sub-deacon, Clyde George Jackson.
Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church was thrilled that Father Jacob and Khouria Katie’s parents attended this most festive and memorable occasion.
To all who celebrated Father Bourassa’s Priestly Ordination with us. Your presence added to the joy of this significant event.
We invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone in Fr. Jacob’s journey. His dedication and commitment are a testament to our shared Orthodox heritage, which traces back to Christ and His Twelve Apostles.
Stay connected with us on Facebook and don’t hesitate to reach out for more information.
May the Grace of God continue to guide us all.
